2013 was filled with lots of adventures, stress, and amazing experiences.
Here is our breakdown of our
TOP 13 OF 2013
13
Fixing Up The Yard
When we were getting ready to sell/rent our house in Springville, we knew the yard needed LOTS of love. So we gave it A LOT of love.
12
Wrist Surgery
I had always had a lot of pain in my left wrist for the last +5 years, so once I was back on my parents insurance, I had surgery to remove what the doctor thought was a cyst. Turns out it was an extra muscle that was causing me pain. Weird, I know.
11
The Colbert Report
On November 7th Bryant and I sat on the front row of "The Colbert Report!" We were 15 feet directly in front of his desk. Stephen came out and gave us high-fives, then took questions from the audience out of character which was really cool to see. We LOVED going to his show!
We even got a free pen. Which is neat.
10
Broncos vs Patriots
GareBear flew out for Thanksgiving and for the Broncos vs Patriots game.
Let's just say he enjoyed the 34-31 OT victory over the Broncos MUCH more than Bryant did.
9
Saints vs Jets
How could I not go see DREW BREEEES when he was playing in NYC?
In November we went to MetLife Stadium and froze our buns off.
And my Saints lost. BOO.
8
Boston
For my birthday in September, we took the train from Penn Station to Boston and stayed for the weekend. We went to a Red Sox's game, ate delicious food, and saw lots of historical...stuff.
7
Four Years
Goodness. Can you believe it?
Love him more than anything.
6
Cancun
Going to Cancun with Dave & Becca was easily the best decision we've ever made.
All inclusive, adult only resort? Yes, PLEASE.
...please take me back...
5
Thanksgiving Week
...has been very well documented on this blog.
But I loved every second of having Josie out here and I miss her A LOT.
4
Independence University
After three years, I had to leave all of my homies at the Stevens-Henager Provo Campus
Thankfully, I was able to continue working as a Financial Planner for the online division, Independence University. I now work remotely from our apartment in Brooklyn.
Willis and Edgar are now my coworkers.
3

Moved to Brooklyn
The decision to move 2,200 miles across the country to the biggest city in the US was one of the scariest and best decisions we've ever made.
HAPPY 2014!
